Will you seek God?

We live in a busy and active society. Unfortunately, the many demands and interests of this society can distract people from seeking God. This is a tragedy with serious negative consequences. However, the blessings of seeking God and His salvation are immeasurable. Are you seeking God? It's important. Notice the following Scripture passage:

"God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. 25Nor is He worshiped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. 26And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, 27so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us." (Acts 17:24-27)

In this Scripture passage we learn two very important things. First, we ought to seek God because He is our Creator. The incredible precision and order that exists in the natural world and in our physical bodies is a testimony that this is all a product of His creative design. Will you not seek God, your Maker?

Secondly, in this Scripture passage we learn that God, in His infinite wisdom and goodness, has ordered the exact time and place of our existence. The purpose for this? That we might seek Him.

Is not this an opportunity for you to seek God? We encourage you to seek God in the Scriptures. We invite you to seek God with us at Trinity Bible Church.

Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.

~Isaiah 55:6 NKJV
